Credit Balance Warnings & Quick Top-Up
Credit Balance Warnings & Quick Top-Up
Available since: v1.0.55
The credit balance widget in the sidebar footer now actively communicates your balance health and provides a one-click path to top up — so your autonomous agent pipeline never stops unexpectedly.
Overview
Credits power every autonomous action on the platform: agent runs, feature discovery cycles, PR implementations, releases, and marketing campaigns. When credits reach zero, all of these processes halt silently. The updated CreditBalance component makes your balance health impossible to miss and easy to act on.
Balance Health States
The sidebar widget reflects one of three health tiers at all times:
| State | Trigger | Visual Indicator |
|---|---|---|
| High | Balance above warning threshold | Default styling, dollar amount + credit count |
| Medium | Approaching threshold | Default styling |
| Low | Balance below ~$5.00 | Amber colouring + Low badge |
No navigation required — your balance health is visible at a glance from any page in the dashboard.
Low-Balance Warning
When your credit balance drops below the low-balance threshold (approximately $5.00), the widget automatically:
- Switches to amber colouring to draw attention
- Displays a
Lowbadge alongside the balance figures - Continues to link directly to the top-up page (see below)
This warning appears in the sidebar footer on every page, ensuring you see it before agents stop running — not after.
Topping Up
The entire CreditBalance widget is now clickable. Selecting it from anywhere in the dashboard navigates directly to:
/dashboard/settings?tab=credits
From the Credits tab you can view your full balance history, purchase additional credits, and configure usage limits.
Previously
Before v1.0.55, the widget showed only a raw $X.XX amount and N credits count. There was no warning when the balance was low and no direct link to top up — users had to manually navigate to Settings → Credits to discover their balance was critical.
