Learner Progress Report per Course
Learner Progress Report per Course
Available since v1.0.44.
The Learner Progress Report gives administrators a single, consolidated view of how every enrolled learner is progressing through a specific course. Use it to spot disengaged learners early and take action before they fall too far behind.
Accessing the Report
- Sign in as an Administrator.
- Navigate to Courses in the Admin panel.
- Open the course you want to inspect.
- Select the Learner Progress tab (or equivalent report link) within the course management view.
The report loads a paginated table of all enrolled learners for that course.
Report Columns
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Learner | Display name and account identifier of the enrolled member. |
| Completion % | Percentage of lessons the learner has completed out of the total lesson count for the course. |
| Lessons Completed | Raw count of completed lessons (e.g. 7 / 12). |
| Enrollment Date | The date the learner was enrolled in the course. |
Common Use Cases
Identify stuck or inactive learners
Sort by Completion % ascending to surface learners with the lowest progress. Cross-reference the Enrollment Date to understand how long they have been enrolled — a learner enrolled weeks ago with 0 % completion likely needs a follow-up.
Monitor cohort health at a glance
The aggregated table makes it easy to gauge overall cohort engagement without needing to open individual learner profiles.
Prioritise outreach
Export or note the learners with low completion and long enrollment durations as candidates for re-engagement messages or additional support.
Permissions
This report is restricted to users with the Administrator role. Learners and instructors do not have access to other learners' progress data.
Notes
- Completion percentage is calculated from lessons only. Quizzes or other assessment types (if applicable) are not factored into the percentage unless they are represented as lessons in the course structure.
- The enrollment date reflects the date the learner was first enrolled, not the date they last accessed the course.
