See Inside Your AI: Introducing the Agent Activity Feed

Release v1.0.45

From day one, Sidekick's goal has been to give you a capable AI agent that works autonomously across your entire digital life. But autonomous doesn't have to mean opaque.

With v1.0.45, we're shipping the Agent Activity Feed — a real-time dashboard that shows you exactly what your agent is doing, why it's doing it, and what triggered each decision.

What's in the Feed

Every action your agent takes generates a structured entry:

  • Trigger — the event that kicked things off
  • Reasoning — the logic the agent applied
  • Action — what actually happened

Whether the agent sent a Slack message on your behalf, drafted an email reply, filed a GitHub issue, or simply evaluated a situation and decided to hold off — it's all in the feed.

Filters That Actually Help

When your agent is connected to dozens of services and acting on hundreds of events per day, a single firehose isn't useful. The feed is filterable by integration and action type, so you can zero in on exactly the activity you care about.

Want to see only the emails your agent drafted this morning? Filter to Gmail + emails. Want to review every GitHub issue your agent created this week? Two clicks.

Why This Matters

Autonomous agents are only as useful as they are trustworthy. The Activity Feed isn't just a log — it's a transparency layer. You can audit decisions, understand the reasoning behind each action, and use that context to fine-tune how much autonomy you hand off over time.

This is the foundation for more powerful agent controls coming in future releases.

The Agent Activity Feed is live now for all Sidekick users. Head to your dashboard to see what your agent has been up to.
