Scheduling Just Got Smarter — Introducing Calendar Integration

Release v1.0.45 | 2025-07-22

One of the most common friction points in HR and operational workflows is the gap between where work is managed and where time is tracked. Interview slots get booked in a spreadsheet. Meeting invites are sent manually. Contract deadlines live in a system nobody checks until it's too late.

With v1.0.45, that gap closes.

What's New

We've integrated the platform directly with Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook. From today, any interview, meeting, or tracked deadline you create on the platform is automatically reflected in the calendar system your team already lives in — no copy-pasting, no double-entry.

Interview Scheduling Without the Back-and-Forth

Hiring teams can now schedule candidate interviews from within the platform and have calendar invitations delivered to every participant automatically. If the interview is rescheduled or cancelled, the calendar event updates in real time. Everyone stays in sync without a single manual follow-up.

Meetings Tied to the Work

Meetings created in the context of an HR or operational workflow are no longer orphaned calendar events. They stay linked to the underlying record, so context travels with the invite.

Deadlines That Surface in Your Calendar

Contract renewals, payroll processing dates, compliance deadlines — these now appear in connected calendars as events. The people who need to act on them see them alongside their everyday schedule, not buried in a dashboard nobody opens at the right moment.

Conflict Detection Built In

Before any invite goes out, the platform checks connected calendars for clashes. If a conflict is detected, the organiser sees it immediately and can pick an alternative slot or override — all before participants are notified. This eliminates the awkward back-and-forth of discovering conflicts after invites are sent.

Getting Started

Connecting your calendar takes under two minutes:

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Calendar.
  2. Choose Google or Outlook and complete the OAuth authentication.
  3. Select which calendars to sync.
  4. Done — all future events will be created and tracked automatically.

Organisation admins can manage calendar integration availability for all users from Admin Settings → Integrations.

What's Next

Calendar integration is the foundation for several upcoming capabilities, including automated scheduling suggestions and availability-aware workflow triggers. We'll share more as those features take shape.

In the meantime, full technical documentation is available in the Calendar Integration feature guide.
