Introducing Employee Management Core — v1.0.7

Introducing Employee Management Core — v1.0.7

Version 1.0.7 delivers the foundational employee management layer of the platform. This release establishes the core HR data infrastructure — employee profiles, organizational hierarchy, and HR data tracking — that all future HR-related features and reporting will build upon.

Employee Profiles

Every employee in your organization gets a comprehensive, structured profile that serves as the authoritative record for workforce data. Profiles consolidate:

  • Personal & contact details — names, addresses, and communication preferences
  • Employment information — start date, employment type, status, and history
  • Role & position assignments — current role, department, reporting manager, and location

Profiles are accessible across the platform, ensuring that any module — from payroll to performance management — draws from the same consistent, up-to-date record.

Organizational Hierarchy Management

Model your organization's real-world structure directly in the platform. The hierarchy management system supports:

  • Departments and teams — create and organize units that reflect how your business operates
  • Reporting lines — establish manager–report relationships at any depth
  • Multi-level hierarchies — represent complex structures, including matrix organizations and subsidiary entities

The hierarchy layer is used throughout the platform to drive permissions, reporting roll-ups, and workflow routing.

HR Data Tracking

The release includes baseline HR data tracking that captures and maintains the records needed for compliance, auditing, and operational reporting. This includes:

  • Structured storage of core employee attributes
  • History and audit trails for key data changes
  • The data foundation required for payroll, talent, and workforce analytics features in upcoming releases

What This Enables

v1.0.7 is a foundational release. The employee profile and hierarchy systems introduced here are prerequisites for virtually every HR workflow in the platform, including:

  • Payroll processing and compensation management
  • Talent acquisition and onboarding workflows
  • Performance and goal tracking
  • Workforce planning and headcount reporting
  • Role-based access control tied to org structure

Subsequent releases will extend each of these areas, all grounded in the core data layer shipped today.
