PR Wall — Community Celebration Feed
PR Wall — Community Celebration Feed
Overview
The PR Wall is a community feed where approved personal record (PR) video submissions are surfaced for other members to celebrate, react to, and comment on. It turns individual achievement moments into shared community events, reinforcing motivation and accountability across the gym.
How It Works
1. Submit a PR Video
Members record and submit a video of a personal record attempt through the platform's PR submission flow. The video enters a review queue.
2. Approval Gate
Coaches or gym administrators review the submission. Only approved videos are posted to the PR Wall. Unapproved or rejected submissions are not visible on the feed.
3. Posted to the PR Wall
Once approved, the PR post appears on the gym's PR Wall. The post includes:
- The member's name and the movement / lift
- The PR value (e.g. weight, time, or reps)
- The approved video
- Timestamp of the achievement
4. Community Engagement
Other members of the gym can:
- React to the post with emoji reactions
- Comment to congratulate or discuss the achievement
Scope and Visibility
| Visibility Level | Description |
|---|---|
| Gym Community | Default scope. Only members of the same gym see the PR post. |
| Network-Wide | Optional. Exceptional PRs can be promoted to a platform-wide feed, visible to members across all connected gyms. |
Network-wide sharing is opt-in and intended for standout performances. It is controlled during the approval or post-promotion flow by a coach or administrator.
Roles & Permissions
| Role | Capabilities |
|---|---|
| Member | Submit PR videos; react to and comment on PR Wall posts |
| Coach / Admin | Approve or reject PR video submissions; optionally promote a PR to the network-wide feed |
Notes
- The PR Wall is gym-scoped by default, meaning each gym maintains its own wall. Members will not see posts from other gyms unless those posts have been promoted to the network-wide feed.
- The approval gate ensures that only relevant, high-quality content reaches the community feed.
- Reactions and comments are available to all members within the visibility scope of the post.
