AI Content Studio
AI Content Studio
The AI Content Studio is a freeform in-platform content writer for generating on-brand emails, newsletters, SMS messages, and ad copy. It is distinct from the journey engine, which produces structured three-email nurture sequences triggered by contact category assignment. The Studio is built for one-off communications and campaign-style outreach that don't fit within an automated journey.
When to Use the Content Studio
Use the Content Studio when you need to create communications that are not part of a predefined nurture sequence, for example:
- A market update newsletter sent to a landlord or vendor segment
- A seasonal campaign (e.g. Spring property market outlook)
- A one-off follow-up email or SMS to a custom audience
- Ad copy for an external campaign
- Custom outreach to a specific contact group
For automated, category-triggered nurture sequences, use the journey engine instead.
How It Works
Brand Inheritance
All content generated in the Studio automatically inherits your agency's brand profile — including tone of voice, terminology preferences, and persona configuration set in agency settings. You do not need to configure voice or style on a per-message basis.
Selecting a Content Type
Choose from the following content types when starting a new piece:
- Email — Full email body with subject line
- Newsletter — Longer-form structured newsletter layout
- SMS — Short-form message within SMS character limits
- Ad copy — Short promotional copy for external use
Audience Segment Targeting
Before generating content, select the audience segment the communication is intended for. Segments correspond to the contact categories used across NurtureHub (e.g. Landlord, Seller, Active Tenant, Buy-to-Let Investor). The AI uses the selected segment to tailor the content's relevance and framing.
A/B Subject Line Generation
For email and newsletter content types, the Studio can generate multiple subject line variants automatically. Review and select the variant you want to use before sending or scheduling.
Scheduling a Send
Once content has been reviewed and approved, you can:
- Send immediately — Dispatch the communication straight away
- Schedule for later — Set a specific date and time for the send
Scheduled sends are managed within the Studio and can be edited or cancelled before the send time.
Performance Tracking
Engagement metrics for content sent via the Studio are tracked and accessible from within the Studio interface. Tracked metrics include standard email and SMS engagement signals (opens, clicks, delivery status).
Relationship to the Journey Engine
| Journey Engine | Content Studio | |
|---|---|---|
| Trigger | Contact category assignment | Manual / on-demand |
| Structure | Fixed three-email sequence | Freeform |
| Content types | Email only | Email, Newsletter, SMS, Ad copy |
| Audience | Individual contact | Segment |
| Scheduling | Automated sequence timing | Manual schedule or immediate |
| Brand voice | From brand profile | From brand profile |
Both tools draw from the same agency brand profile. They operate independently and do not interfere with one another.
