What's New in v0.1.48 — Score Movement Alerts
This release adds a lightweight signal-tracking layer on top of the existing opportunity scoring system. Instead of only seeing where a product scores right now, you can now see which direction it's heading — and get alerted when something you're watching starts to slip.
The Problem This Solves
The composite opportunity score is calculated fresh on every crawl run. Before this release, there was no way to know whether a product's score had been stable, improving, or declining between runs. A score of 7.2 today tells you very little if it was 8.9 last week.
Score Movement Alerts close that gap.
What's Changed
1. Directional Indicators on the Dashboard
Every product row on the ranked dashboard now shows a ▲ or ▼ indicator when the composite score has moved by more than 1.5 points since the previous crawl. No indicator means the score is stable within that threshold.
This makes it fast to scan the dashboard and spot which products are trending up (potential accelerating opportunities) and which are trending down (potential false positives or markets closing).
2. Optional In-App Alerts for Shortlisted Products
If you've shortlisted a product and want to be notified when it drops significantly, you can now opt in to in-app score drop notifications. Alerts are per-product and per-user — you're in full control of what you're watching.
Who This Is For
This feature is most useful if you:
- Monitor a stable shortlist of candidate products across multiple crawl runs.
- Want to prioritise follow-up on products that are improving before the opportunity scores peak.
- Need an early warning when a product's fundamentals (review sentiment, pricing signals) are deteriorating.
Getting Started
- Run a crawl (or wait for the next scheduled run) — score movement data populates automatically after the second analysis of any product.
- Check the dashboard — look for ▲ / ▼ indicators in the score column.
- Drill into a dossier — the full dossier shows the current score; use the indicator on the dashboard to gauge trend direction before opening.
- Enable alerts — open a shortlisted product's dossier, navigate to its shortlist settings, and toggle "Notify me on score drop".
