Stay Connected After the Gym — Alumni Network & Travel Map

Leaving a gym doesn't have to mean losing your community. With v1.0.50 we're introducing two new features that keep former members part of the Posibl network long after their active membership ends: the Alumni Network and the Travel Map.

The Problem We're Solving

Gyms build real communities. When someone's membership ends — whether they're moving cities, taking a break, or changing their routine — they lose access to everything overnight. That's a hard cut for something that was likely part of their daily life.

At the same time, functional fitness athletes travel. They want to train when they're away, but finding a quality affiliate box in an unfamiliar city takes effort.

These two features are our answer to both of those problems.

Alumni Network

From v1.0.50, when a member leaves a gym their account isn't deleted. Instead, it's automatically converted to a free alumni account — no extra steps, no new sign-up, same login.

Alumni accounts unlock access to the Alumni Network, a dedicated community space on the platform where former members can stay in touch, share updates, and remain part of the wider Posibl community.

For gym owners, this also means that alumni remain in the broader ecosystem. Former members who stay connected are more likely to return, refer friends, or drop in when they're back in town.

Travel Map

The second addition is a worldwide gym map available to all alumni (and active members).

The map shows every Posibl gym and affiliate box globally. Travelling athletes can open the map, find a box near their destination, and show up knowing it's a vetted part of the network.

If you're a gym owner or affiliate and want to appear on the map, make sure your location is up to date in your Gym Settings — listed gyms are pinned automatically.

Available Now

Both features are live in v1.0.50. Alumni accounts are created automatically for any member whose subscription ends — nothing needs to be configured by gym owners or members.
