What's New in v1.0.61 — Mandate & Collection Dashboard UI

Released: 2025-07-17

v1.0.61 ships the first version of the operational dashboard for the Direct Debit collection service. Up until now, all mandate and collection data was accessible only through the API. This release adds a purpose-built UI at /dashboard/mandates that puts the most important operational information in one place.

A Dashboard Built for Day-to-Day Operations

When you land on /dashboard/mandates, five summary widgets immediately tell you what matters:

  • How many mandates are active right now.
  • Which collections are coming up in the next 7 days — so you can anticipate cash movement.
  • What collections have cleared in the last 30 days.
  • Whether the clawback reserve is healthy — a fast signal that your holding account has enough buffer to absorb any reversals.
  • How many alerts are waiting for attention.

These widgets are designed to answer the "is everything OK?" question within seconds of opening the page.

Find Any Mandate Quickly

Below the widgets, the full mandate list is searchable and filterable. You can:

  • Search by tenant name or mandate reference.
  • Filter to a specific status: active, suspended, cancelled, or failed.
  • Sort by next collection date — useful when you need to know what's happening this week.

Collections at a Glance

The collection list sits alongside the mandate list, showing every collection with a status badge and amount. Status badges make it easy to spot anything that needs attention — a failed or clawback badge stands out immediately.

Drill into any Mandate

Clicking a mandate opens a detail panel without leaving the page. Inside, you'll find:

  • Full lifecycle history — every event from initial submission through to the latest collection.
  • Video verification replay — a direct link to the tenant's recorded verification, stored at mandate setup time. Useful when investigating a disputed collection.
  • Lifecycle action buttons — suspend, reactivate, or cancel a mandate without switching to a different tool. Actions apply immediately and the panel updates in real time.

What's Next

This release establishes the core operational dashboard. Future iterations will build on this foundation — look for richer reporting views, collection history exports, and alert management improvements in upcoming releases.
