Compliance Audit Report for Agents — Full Portfolio Oversight in One Export

Blog: Compliance Audit Report for Agents — Full Portfolio Oversight in One Export

Release v0.1.28 | 2025-07-14

Deposit compliance isn't just about doing the right thing for tenants — it's also about being able to prove you've done it. Whether you're responding to a regulatory inquiry or renewing your professional indemnity insurance, having clean, structured evidence of your agency's compliance record is essential.

With v0.1.28, we're introducing the Compliance Audit Report: a single, exportable document that gives agency directors a clear picture of their portfolio's deposit compliance standing.

What's in the Report

The Compliance Audit Report pulls together four key compliance signals across all tenancies your agency manages:

Protection Rate What percentage of your deposits were protected within the statutory 30-day window? This is the headline number regulators and insurers want to see. A figure close to 100% signals strong operational hygiene; anything lower is a prompt to investigate process gaps.

Prescribed Information Compliance Rate Protecting the deposit is step one. Serving the prescribed information (PI) correctly and on time is step two — and it's just as important. This metric shows how consistently your agency is hitting that obligation across your whole portfolio.

Open Disputes A live count of unresolved deposit disputes across your tenancies. Useful context for insurers, and a practical checklist for directors who want to stay on top of outstanding cases.

Scheme Breakdown A clear breakdown of which protection schemes your deposits sit in — custodial versus insured, and by individual provider. Helpful for agencies managing deposits across multiple schemes, or those looking to consolidate.

Who It's For

This report is built for agency directors — the people accountable for compliance across the whole business, not just individual tenancies. It's the view you need when you're preparing for a regulatory review, presenting to your board, or sitting down with your PI insurer at renewal.

How to Export
