Take Control of When Your Nurture Emails Land

Release v1.0.20 · Sequence Sending Schedule Configuration

One of the most common questions we hear from agents is: "Can I make sure emails don't go out at 11pm on a Sunday?" From today, the answer is a firm yes — and you have far more control than just that.

The Problem With "Send Now"

AI-generated sequences are fast. That's the point. But fast doesn't always mean well-timed. A nurture email that lands at 7am on a bank holiday, or three days after the previous one when the contact barely remembers signing up, is a missed opportunity at best and a nuisance at worst.

Timing is a key part of what makes a sequence feel professional and human — not automated. So we've built scheduling controls directly into NurtureHub, with sensible defaults that work for the vast majority of UK property agencies out of the box.

What's New

Org-Level Defaults That Just Work

Org owners can now set a default send schedule in Settings. The defaults we've chosen reflect best practice for UK residential property:

  • 3 days between email 1 and email 2
  • 7 days between email 2 and email 3
  • 9am–5pm, Monday to Friday sending window
  • Europe/London timezone (handles GMT/BST automatically)
  • UK bank holidays skipped — no more emails landing on Christmas or Easter

If these defaults work for your agency, you don't need to touch a thing. Just approve sequences as normal and the delivery engine will handle the rest.

Override Per Sequence at Approval

Sometimes a contact needs faster follow-up. Sometimes you're dealing with an overseas investor in a different timezone. At the approval step, agents can override any of the schedule settings for that individual sequence — without changing anything for the rest of the organisation.

This keeps the experience simple for day-to-day use while giving you an escape hatch when you need it.

A Smarter Delivery Engine

Under the hood, the Inngest function that dispatches emails now evaluates every constraint before each send. If an email is due outside the allowed window, it's automatically deferred to the next valid slot. Delays are calculated from the actual send time of the previous email, so the sequence stays coherent even if a send is pushed back.

Why This Matters

Email marketing platforms for property have historically forced agents to choose between simplicity (no control) and power (overwhelming workflow builders). NurtureHub's approach is different: smart defaults with lightweight overrides. You get professional-grade timing behaviour without ever building a single schedule from scratch.

Getting Started

Org owners can review and adjust the default schedule at any time under Settings → Sequence Schedule. The new defaults are applied automatically to all sequences approved from today.

For full details on every setting, see the Sequence Sending Schedule Configuration guide.
