Every agency is sitting on a database full of contacts who went quiet months — sometimes years — ago. The Database Reactivator Agent automatically finds those dormant contacts every single day and launches personalised re-engagement email sequences for them, without you lifting a finger.


How the Agent Works

The Database Reactivator is an autonomous AI agent that runs on a daily Inngest cron schedule. Each day it:

  1. Scans your entire contact database for engagement activity.
  2. Identifies contacts who have been inactive beyond the configured dormancy threshold.
  3. Assigns them to a re_engagement journey for their contact category.
  4. Selects the correct re-engagement email template for that category.
  5. Triggers the Content Writer AI to generate personalised re-engagement emails based on each contact's individual history.
  6. Queues the generated emails for your review and approval before anything is sent.

You stay in control — no email goes out without agent approval.


Dormancy Thresholds

The agent uses two default dormancy periods, which are configurable:

Re-Engagement Journeys

When a contact is flagged as dormant, they are automatically assigned to the re_engagement journey type for their specific category. NurtureHub supports twelve contact categories (e.g. Seller, Landlord, Buy-to-Let Investor, Active Tenant), and each has its own re-engagement template and tone.

The Content Writer personalises the generated emails using the contact's history — previous interactions, property interests, and CRM data — so re-engagement emails feel relevant and timely rather than generic.


Reactivation Success Tracking

The agent tracks reactivation success rate per category, so you can see exactly which contact types are responding to re-engagement and which may need a different approach. This data surfaces in your NurtureHub dashboard under engagement analytics.


Review and Approval Flow

Generated re-engagement emails follow the same approval flow as all NurtureHub sequences:

  1. The agent generates the email sequence and queues it for review.
  2. You receive a notification that emails are awaiting approval.
  3. Review, edit if needed, and approve — or dismiss if a contact is no longer relevant.
  4. Approved emails are scheduled and sent. Engagement is tracked in real time.
