Introducing Dispute Outcome Tracking & Reporting

Introducing Dispute Outcome Tracking & Reporting

v0.1.44 — now available

Dispute adjudication decisions have always been the end of the road for an individual case — but until now, those outcomes lived in isolation. With v0.1.44, every adjudicated result becomes a structured data point that feeds back into your agency's performance picture.

What's been added

Per-dispute outcome recording

When an adjudicator reaches a decision, you can now record three things against the dispute:

  1. How much was awarded — the exact amount, including zero
  2. Who won — full landlord award, partial award, or tenant wins
  3. Why the decision was made — adjudicator reasoning, either as free text or tagged by category

This turns every dispute closure into a piece of institutional knowledge rather than a one-time event.

Agency-level reporting

All recorded outcomes roll up into a reporting view at the agency level. You can see:

  • Your win/loss/partial split across all disputes
  • Average award amounts over time
  • The reasoning your adjudicators cite most often — both when you win and when you don't

Why it matters

The most common reason agencies lose deposit disputes is not a bad claim — it's an evidential or procedural gap that could have been caught earlier. By systematically tracking outcomes and the reasoning behind them, you now have a feedback loop:

  • See which deduction types are consistently upheld
  • Identify the evidence gaps that cost you awards
  • Use real adjudication data to coach your team

This is a direct input into the platform's longer-term goal of preventing disputes before they start — knowing how past disputes were decided helps shape how future ones are prepared.

Getting started

  1. Navigate to any dispute that has reached adjudication
  2. Open the Outcome panel and record the award type, amount, and reasoning
  3. Head to Reports → Dispute Outcomes at the agency level to see your aggregated data

Outcome records are immutable once saved to maintain audit integrity.
