Negotiation and Deposit Releases are now always visible in the sidebar — no extra clicks required.

What's new

As of v0.1.141, the sidebar has a new Active Work group that sits permanently between Portfolio and Inspections. It contains two items:

Negotiation — including unread message badges
Deposit Releases — time-sensitive release approvals

Both items are visible immediately on every page load, regardless of which route you're on.

Why these two items were promoted

Negotiation and Deposit Releases are the highest-urgency daily workflows in the platform:

Deposit disputes carry legal deadlines. Under the Renters' Rights Act, late responses to dispute communications can have real compliance consequences. Every extra click between an agent and their dispute queue is friction that shouldn't exist.
Unread negotiation messages need prompt attention. The negotiation inbox shows a badge when tenants or landlords have sent new messages. Previously that badge was hidden inside a collapsed group — agents had no visual signal unless they happened to expand it.

The previous Deposit & Disputes group defaulted to collapsed. While it would auto-expand when a child route was already active, visiting from the homepage meant one extra click every single session to reach the most time-critical parts of the product. Over dozens of sessions a week, that adds up.
