v1.0.9: Automatically Import Your Landlord Record from AgentOS
v1.0.9: Automatically Import Your Landlord Record from AgentOS
Release: v1.0.9
What's in this release
Version 1.0.9 introduces a direct connection to the agentos.com API. Landlords can now authorise the platform to import their property portfolio, tenancy records, and financial transactions straight from AgentOS — eliminating the need for manual data entry before submitting to HMRC under Making Tax Digital.
Why this matters for MTD submissions
Making Tax Digital for Income Tax requires landlords to submit accurate quarterly figures to HMRC covering rental income and allowable expenses. Sourcing this data manually is time-consuming and error-prone.
With this integration, your AgentOS financial transactions become the primary data source for your MTD submissions. The platform reads the records already maintained in AgentOS and uses them to populate your quarterly returns — so the figures you submit to HMRC reflect exactly what is in your letting management system.
What gets imported
- Properties — Your full portfolio as recorded in AgentOS
- Tenancies — Active and historical tenancy agreements linked to each property
- Financial transactions — Income and expenditure records used to calculate your MTD figures
How to get started
- Go to Settings → Data Sources in the platform.
- Select Connect AgentOS and enter your AgentOS credentials.
- Your data will be imported automatically.
- From there, proceed to generate your quarterly MTD submission as normal.
Full setup details are in the AgentOS Integration guide.
No changes to HMRC submission flow
This release affects data import only. The HMRC authentication process (including National Insurance Number submission) and the MTD submission workflow are unchanged in v1.0.9.
