AgentOS Integration — Importing Your Landlord Record
AgentOS Integration — Importing Your Landlord Record
Available from: v1.0.9
The platform integrates with agentos.com to automatically import your property portfolio, tenancy data, and financial transactions. This data is the primary source used to generate your quarterly Making Tax Digital (MTD) submissions to HMRC.
Overview
Instead of manually entering your properties and income/expense transactions, you can connect your AgentOS account. Once connected, the platform pulls your records directly from AgentOS and keeps them available for MTD submission generation.
What is imported
| Data Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Property Portfolio | All properties registered to your landlord account in AgentOS |
| Tenancy Data | Active and historical tenancies linked to each property |
| Financial Transactions | Income and expenditure records used to calculate your MTD figures |
Prerequisites
- An active AgentOS account with landlord-level access
- Your AgentOS login credentials (username and password)
- A registered account on this platform
Connecting Your AgentOS Account
- Log in to the platform.
- Navigate to Settings → Data Sources.
- Select Connect AgentOS.
- Enter your AgentOS credentials when prompted.
- Confirm the authorisation. The platform will authenticate against the AgentOS API using your credentials.
- Once the connection is established, your property portfolio, tenancies, and financial transactions will be imported automatically.
Note: Your AgentOS credentials are used solely to authenticate with the AgentOS API on your behalf. They are stored securely and are never shared.
Data Refresh
After the initial import, the platform will use the imported transaction data as the basis for your MTD submissions. Refer to the submission guide for details on how transactions map to HMRC MTD reporting categories.
Troubleshooting
Connection fails at authorisation
- Double-check your AgentOS username and password.
- Ensure your AgentOS account has landlord-level permissions.
- If your AgentOS account uses two-factor authentication, contact support for assistance.
No properties appear after import
- Confirm that properties are registered and active under your landlord record in AgentOS.
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting your AgentOS account.
Transactions are missing or incomplete
- Verify the transactions exist within AgentOS under your landlord record.
- Check whether the transactions fall within the relevant tax period.
