The Compliance Audit Report gives agency directors a consolidated, exportable view of deposit compliance across every tenancy they manage. It is intended for use in regulatory reporting and as documentary evidence for professional indemnity (PI) insurance.

What the Report Contains
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Protection Rate | Percentage of deposits protected within the statutory 30-day deadline across all tenancies |
| Prescribed Information Compliance Rate | Percentage of tenancies where prescribed information (PI) was served to tenants correctly and on time |
| Open Disputes | Number of deposit disputes currently unresolved, with a per-tenancy summary |
| Scheme Breakdown | A breakdown of deposits by protection scheme (custodial vs. insured) and by individual scheme provider |
Generating the Report
- Navigate to Agency Dashboard → Compliance → Audit Report.
- Select the date range you wish to report on.
- Click Generate Report to preview the results.
- Click Export to download the report in your preferred format.
Use Cases
- Regulatory reporting — Demonstrate portfolio-wide compliance to regulatory bodies on request.
- PI insurance evidence — Provide insurers with timestamped, structured evidence of deposit handling practices.
- Internal audits — Identify tenancies where protection or prescribed information deadlines were missed and remediate accordingly.
Notes
- The report reflects data for all tenancies linked to your agency account at the time of generation.
- Exported reports are timestamped and reflect a point-in-time snapshot; they are not updated retroactively.
- Open disputes are those not yet resolved at the time the report is generated.
