Take Control of Your Agent: Introducing the Settings & Configuration Panel
Released in v1.0.62
Sidekick's AI agent works around the clock — reading your messages, triaging your inbox, managing your calendar, and taking action across 100+ connected services. But a powerful agent is only useful when it behaves the way you want it to.
With v1.0.62, we're shipping the Agent Settings & Configuration Panel: a centralized page where you can tune every aspect of your agent's behavior, all in one place.
What's in the Settings Panel
The new settings page is organized into clearly labeled sections, each focused on a specific dimension of agent behavior. Every option includes inline help text so you understand exactly what you're configuring without leaving the page.
Autonomy Level
Decide how independently your agent operates. Options range from conservative (suggest actions for your approval) to fully autonomous (act and notify you after the fact). You can tune this globally or, in future releases, per-integration.
Quiet Hours
Your agent doesn't sleep — but it can stay quiet when you need it to. Configure time windows during which the agent suppresses notifications and holds off on non-urgent actions until you're back.
Priority Rules
Not every message, task, or event deserves equal attention. Priority rules let you define how the agent ranks and handles incoming work across your connected tools — so the most important things always rise to the top.
Memory Preferences
Control what your agent remembers between sessions. Choose what context it retains (recurring preferences, key contacts, project context) and what it should discard. Your agent gets smarter over time, on your terms.
Notification Channels
Choose how and where your agent reaches you. Route summaries, alerts, and action results to email, the Sidekick in-app feed, or any connected chat platform — whichever fits your workflow.
A Cleaner, More Organized Experience
The settings page uses a section-based layout designed for quick scanning. Whether you're making a quick tweak or doing a full configuration pass, it's easy to find what you're looking for. Inline help text on every option means less guesswork and fewer trips to the docs.
How to Access It
The Agent Settings panel is available to all Sidekick users. Navigate to Settings → Agent from your dashboard to get started.
What's Next
This panel is the foundation for deeper per-integration and per-skill configuration options coming in future releases. As Sidekick's capabilities grow, the settings panel will grow with it — keeping everything organized and accessible in one place.
