Never Miss a Task: Introducing the Property Manager Daily Workload Snapshot

Property managers juggle a lot. On any given day there might be a deposit that still isn't protected, a check-out that went overdue last week, or a tenancy agreement sitting unsigned in someone's inbox. Tracking all of that across a busy portfolio — without anything slipping through the cracks — is genuinely hard.

Starting with v0.1.386, every active property manager on the platform receives a personalised daily work queue email at 07:45 UTC, Monday to Friday.

A Morning briefing, not a noise machine

The email is intentionally compact. It covers exactly five things that matter:

  • Compliance failures on your properties
  • Pending signatures blocking progress
  • Unprotected deposits that need registering
  • Overdue check-outs that need closing off
  • Stale deposit releases waiting on resolution

If there's nothing outstanding in a category, that section doesn't appear. If there's nothing at all, no email is sent. The goal is a signal, not a status report.

Scoped to you, not your whole organisation

This is the key difference from the existing weekly org digest (which goes to admins and owners with an organisation-wide view). The daily snapshot only shows your properties. You won't see colleagues' portfolios, and they won't see yours.

Why it matters for compliance

Under the Renters' Rights Act, landlords and agents face real liability for unprotected deposits, missed check-out processes, and unsigned documentation. Having a prompt arrive every morning — before the day starts — means those risks surface at the right moment, not weeks later during a dispute.

The daily snapshot is live for all organisations on v0.1.386 and above. No configuration is required. If you have the property_manager role and your account is active, you'll receive your first email on the next weekday morning at 07:45 UTC.
