What's New in v0.1.34 — In-App Notifications for Crawl Events
Released: v0.1.34
Overview
You no longer need to manually check whether a crawl has finished or whether new products have appeared in a monitored directory. Version 0.1.34 wires two new notification triggers into the existing in-app notifications platform so you're alerted automatically — right inside the app.
New Notification Triggers
1. Crawl Run Complete
When a crawl run finishes, an in-app notification is sent with a summary of how many products were found during that run. This gives you an immediate at-a-glance signal that the job is done and confirms whether anything was discovered — before you even open the results page.
What the notification includes:
- Confirmation that the crawl has completed
- Total count of products found in the run
- A direct link to the crawl run results
2. New Products Discovered
If the crawl detects products in a monitored directory that weren't present before, a notification fires immediately. The notification links directly to the crawl run results pre-filtered to show only the new products, so you can jump straight to what matters.
What the notification includes:
- Alert that new products have been found in the monitored directory
- A deep link to the results view filtered to new products only
How It Works
Both notification types are delivered through the platform's existing notifications system — no additional setup or configuration is required. If you're already receiving in-app notifications, these new triggers will appear automatically.
Why This Matters
Crawl jobs can run in the background while you're working elsewhere. Previously, discovering that a run had completed — or that new supplier products had appeared — required manually revisiting the dashboard. With these notifications, the platform surfaces that information to you proactively, keeping the team responsive to new market intelligence without any extra effort.
