Track How Opportunity Scores Change Over Time

Market intelligence is only as useful as its ability to show you movement, not just a snapshot. With this release, every product dossier now maintains a full version history — so you can see not just where a product stands today, but how it got there.

The Problem

Until now, re-analysing a product meant the previous scores and written analyses were silently overwritten. If a product's composite opportunity score shifted between crawl cycles, there was no record of what it used to be or why it changed. For a tool built to surface competitive intelligence, that was a meaningful blind spot.

What Changes in v0.1.42

Every time a product is re-scored or re-analysed, the outgoing dossier is persisted as an immutable snapshot in product_dossier_versions before the new results are written. The live dossier always shows the freshest data; the history panel shows everything that came before.

From any product's dossier page you can now:

• Browse a timestamped timeline of all prior analysis versions.
• Expand any past version to read the full snapshot — all four sub-scores plus the auto-drafted mission statement, feature list, and competitor weakness analysis.
• Compare score trajectories to identify products gaining or losing traction in the market.

Why It Matters

Proptech markets move. A product that scored weakly on market demand six weeks ago might have accumulated a wave of new reviews since then — or the inverse. Version history turns the dossier from a point-in-time report into a longitudinal signal, helping the team make more confident prioritisation decisions about what to build next.

Getting Started

No setup required. Version history is active for all products from this release forward. Open any product dossier and select the History tab to explore past versions.
