Introducing the Mandates Admin Dashboard

Introducing the Mandates Admin Dashboard

Release: v1.0.62

With v1.0.62 we're shipping the first major admin dashboard surface for mandate management. You can now view, search, filter, and act on every Direct Debit mandate in your organisation — all from a single page.

Mandates List (/dashboard/mandates)

The mandates list gives you a real-time, paginated overview of every mandate registered under your organisation. Use it to quickly locate a specific tenant, audit your active mandate book, or investigate a failed collection.

Filtering

The list supports three independent filters that can be combined:

FilterDescription
StatusNarrow to active, suspended, cancelled, or pending mandates
Date rangeFilter by mandate creation date or last collection date
AmountScope to a specific collection amount or range

Columns

Each row in the list surfaces the most operationally relevant fields at a glance:

  • Tenant name — the mandate holder
  • Email — contact address on record
  • Amount — the collection amount in GBP
  • Frequency — how often the collection runs (e.g. monthly)
  • Status — current mandate state
  • Last collection date — when funds were most recently collected

Mandate Detail Page

Select any mandate from the list to open its detail view. This page is the single source of truth for everything that has happened on a mandate.

Collection History

A chronological log of every collection run against the mandate, including amount, date, and outcome. Use this to identify patterns in failed collections or to confirm that a specific payment was processed.

Status Change History

An audit trail showing every status transition the mandate has gone through — who triggered it and when. Useful for compliance review and for understanding why a mandate is in its current state.

Bank Details

The tenant's bank account details are displayed in masked format (e.g. sort code and last digits of account number). Full details are never exposed in the UI.

Video Verification

The video recorded by the tenant during mandate setup is embedded directly in the detail page for inline playback. This recording — in which the tenant confirms their name, the collection amount, and the property or purpose — is stored for fraud protection and can be reviewed at any time.

ID Verification Result

The outcome of the identity check carried out during mandate onboarding is shown alongside the video, giving you a complete picture of the verification performed at setup.

Mandate Actions

Three lifecycle actions are available directly from the detail page:

Cancel

Permanently cancels the mandate. A cancellation instruction is submitted via AUDDIS/BACS. Once cancelled, a mandate cannot be reactivated — a new mandate must be created.

Suspend

Temporarily pauses collections on the mandate without cancelling it. Useful when a tenant dispute is under investigation or a payment needs to be skipped. The mandate remains in place and can be reactivated.

Reactivate

Restores a suspended mandate to active status, resuming the collection schedule from the next due date.

Access

The mandates dashboard is available at /dashboard/mandates and is scoped to your organisation. All data — mandates, collections, and verification records — is strictly isolated per organisation.
