Fine-Tune Your Nurture Emails: Inline Editing & AI Regeneration

Fine-Tune Your Nurture Emails: Inline Editing & AI Regeneration

Released in v1.0.44

NurtureHub generates a personalised three-email nurture sequence the moment you assign a contact to a category. From v1.0.44, the sequence review UI gives you complete control over those emails before they go out — edit them directly, ask the AI to rewrite a single email with a specific instruction, or regenerate the entire sequence in one go.

Editing Emails Inline

Every email in the review UI now has a live rich text editor for the subject line and body.

  1. Open the sequence review screen for a contact.
  2. Click into any email's subject or body field.
  3. Type your changes — formatting controls (bold, italic, bullet lists, links) are available in the toolbar.
  4. Your changes are saved automatically as you type.

Emails you have typed in are marked Manually Edited in the sequence record. This flag is visible to anyone reviewing the sequence and is stored in the audit trail.

Regenerating a Single Email

If an email isn't quite right but you don't want to type a replacement from scratch, ask the AI to rewrite it.

  1. Hover over the email you want to change and click Regenerate.
  2. An instruction prompt appears — this is optional. Leave it blank for a straight regeneration, or type a plain-language instruction:
    • make it shorter
    • add more urgency
    • focus on capital growth, not rental yield
    • use a more conversational tone
  3. Click Regenerate to confirm. The AI rewrites the email using the original contact context (category, CRM data, brand voice) plus your instruction.
  4. The new version replaces the current email in the editor. Your previous version is saved to edit history.

Regenerating the Whole Sequence

To rewrite all three emails at once:

  1. Click Regenerate All at the top of the sequence review screen.
  2. Enter an optional instruction in the notes field. This instruction is applied across every email in the sequence.
  3. Click Regenerate All to confirm. All three emails are rewritten simultaneously.

This is useful when the initial tone or focus of the sequence doesn't match what you need — for example, after realising the contact is a portfolio landlord rather than a single-property owner.

Reverting to a Previous Version

Every change — whether typed manually or generated by the AI — is stored in edit history.

  1. Click the History icon on any email.
  2. Browse the list of previous versions, each timestamped and labelled (e.g. AI Generated, Manually Edited, Regenerated — make it shorter).
  3. Click Restore on any version to replace the current email with that version.

Restoring a version does not delete history — you can always restore forward again.

How the AI Uses Your Instructions

When you provide an instruction at regeneration time, the AI engine receives:

  • The original contact context (category, CRM fields, lead source)
  • The agency brand voice profile
  • Your instruction

The instruction is additive — it shapes the output without removing the personalisation that makes the email relevant to that specific contact. You are steering the AI, not replacing it.

What the 'Manually Edited' Flag Means

Any email that has been edited by hand or regenerated with a custom instruction is flagged as Manually Edited in the sequence record. This flag:

  • Is visible on the sequence summary screen.
  • Is stored in the sequence audit log for compliance review.
  • Does not affect delivery, tracking, or intent scoring — the email sends and is tracked identically to a fully AI-generated email.

Approving and Sending

Edited and regenerated sequences follow exactly the same approval and send flow as standard sequences. Once you are satisfied with all three emails, click Approve Sequence as normal.
