Power Up Your Portfolio View — Introducing Grid & List Toggle

Release v0.1.95

If you manage a large portfolio, you already know the feeling: you need to find one specific tenancy, check its deposit status, and confirm an end date — but first you have to scroll through page after page of cards. As of v0.1.95, that friction is gone.

The Problem With Cards (At Scale)

Card grids are intuitive. For a landlord with five or ten properties, seeing each one laid out with its address, status badge, and key dates at a comfortable size is genuinely useful.

But for agents managing 100+ tenancies, cards at three-per-row are the wrong tool. You are not browsing — you are working. You need rows, columns, and the ability to scan an entire list in seconds.

Until now, the Tenancies and Properties pages offered no alternative.

What's New

We have added a view toggle to the toolbar at the top of both the Tenancies list and the Properties list. Two icons: grid and list. One click separates browsing mode from power mode.

List (Table) View

The table view gives you one row per tenancy with six clean columns:

  • Address — where it is
  • Status — where things stand
  • Dates — when the tenancy runs
  • Deposit — how much is held
  • Scheme — which protection scheme applies
  • Actions — everything you can do, per row

No extra clicks. No cards to expand. Just data.

Your Preference Is Remembered

We save your chosen view to localStorage, so if you switch to the table view, it is still there next time you open the page. No setting to hunt down — it just works.

Nothing Else Changes

Filters, search, bulk actions — all of it works exactly as before, in both views. The card view is untouched for those who prefer it, and remains the default on mobile.

Who This Is For

  • Lettings agents with 50+ managed tenancies who need to triage quickly.
  • Portfolio landlords who run regular checks on deposit status and end dates.
  • Power users who prefer keyboard-and-eyes efficiency over visual browsing.

How to Try It

  1. Open Dashboard → Tenancies (or Properties).
  2. Find the toggle icons in the top toolbar row.
  3. Click the list icon.
  4. That's it — your portfolio, in a table.

This is one of a series of workflow improvements aimed at making the platform faster for agents managing larger books of business. More to come.
