Property Portfolio Management — v1.0.10 Release
Property Portfolio Management
Introduced in: v1.0.10
Overview
Version 1.0.10 introduces the Property Portfolio — a structured, centralised view of all your rental properties, automatically imported from AgentOS. Properties are the core entity in the platform: all income and expenses are organised around them, making it straightforward to produce accurate quarterly submissions for HMRC's Making Tax Digital (MTD) for Income Tax.
How It Works
1. Automatic Import from AgentOS
Your rental properties are imported directly from your AgentOS landlord record via the AgentOS API. There is no need to manually enter property addresses or details — the platform pulls them in automatically and keeps them in sync.
2. Reviewing Your Portfolio
Once imported, your properties are displayed in a structured list. For each property you can:
- Review key details pulled from AgentOS (address, type, tenancy information).
- Categorise the property for tax purposes — for example, whether it is furnished or unfurnished, a Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO), or a single let.
- Annotate the property with free-text notes relevant to your tax position.
3. Properties as the Central Entity
All income (rent receipts, service charges, etc.) and expenses (repairs, agent fees, mortgage interest, etc.) recorded in the platform are linked to a specific property. This property-centric structure ensures that your HMRC MTD submissions reflect the correct figures for each property in your portfolio.
