v1.0.46: Introducing Document Storage Integration with Google Drive & OneDrive
v1.0.46: Introducing Document Storage Integration with Google Drive & OneDrive
We're pleased to announce v1.0.46, which brings native cloud document storage integration to the platform. Starting today, you can connect Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive directly to your workflows — no more switching tabs, no more broken document links, and no compromise on security.
What's New
Connect Your Cloud Storage
Organisations can now authorise a Google Drive or OneDrive connection from Settings → Integrations → Document Storage. Once connected, documents stored in your cloud provider are accessible directly within the platform, wherever documents are referenced — from HR records and contracts to financial reports and operational SOPs.
Collaboration Without Leaving the Platform
With this integration, teams can share and collaborate on documents through their preferred cloud storage provider while staying inside the platform. Whether your organisation standardises on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, the experience is seamless.
Security Stays in Control
We know that document access is sensitive. That's why the integration is designed to enforce security at both layers:
- Platform permissions — users only see what their platform role allows.
- Cloud storage permissions — if a document isn't shared with a user in Google Drive or OneDrive, they won't see it through the platform either.
Administrators retain full control and can revoke the integration at any time.
Getting Started
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Document Storage.
- Choose Google Drive or OneDrive (or both).
- Complete the OAuth authorisation flow.
- Your team can now access connected documents directly in the platform.
For full setup instructions and security details, see the Document Storage Integration guide.
What's Next
This release lays the foundation for deeper document workflows across HR, finance, and contract management. We'll continue to expand document capabilities in upcoming releases.
