Introducing the Owner/Resident Portal & Owner Registry

Introducing the Owner/Resident Portal & Owner Registry (v1.0.4)

The platform has always been built for two audiences: the property management agents who run Irish multi-unit developments, and the unit owners who live in them. With v1.0.4, the owner-facing half of the platform is now live.

This release introduces two interconnected features: the Owner Registry and the Owner/Resident Portal.

The Problem This Solves

Before this release, the platform had no way for unit owners to interact with their Owners' Management Company (OMC) or managing agent. Owners had no self-service access to their service charge statements, no way to raise maintenance requests digitally, and no central inbox for communications. The agent side of the platform was fully operational, but the resident side did not exist.

v1.0.4 closes that gap entirely.

Owner Registry

The Owner Registry is a structured record of who owns which unit. Managing agents use it to:

  • Map owners to units — including joint ownership arrangements
  • Maintain owner profiles — contact details, correspondence preferences, and ownership history
  • Manage lifecycle changes — onboard new owners when units change hands, deactivate records when ownership transfers

The registry is the prerequisite for everything else. Without it, portal access cannot be granted to owners.

Owner/Resident Portal

Once an owner is registered and mapped to a unit, they can be invited to the portal. From there, they can:

View service charge statements
Owners can see current and historical statements with itemised charge breakdowns and payment status — no more chasing the agent for copies.

Submit maintenance requests
Owners can log issues directly in the portal. Requests are tracked from submission through to resolution.

Download documents
Agents publish documents to the portal — house rules, AGM minutes, insurance certs — and owners can retrieve them on demand.

Read communications
Every notice or message sent by the agent or OMC lands in the owner's portal inbox, creating a permanent, accessible record.

Getting Started

If you are a managing agent, here is how to get owners onto the portal:

  1. Open the Owner Registry from your dashboard.
  2. Create an owner profile with the owner's contact details.
  3. Associate the owner with their unit(s).
  4. Send the portal invitation — the owner receives credentials and can log in immediately.

For full setup instructions, see the Owner/Resident Portal & Owner Registry feature guide.

What's Next

This release establishes the foundation for owner-facing functionality. Future releases will build on the registry and portal to add deeper capabilities including online service charge payments, voting in AGMs, and enhanced maintenance workflow management.

Released in v1.0.4. See the full Changelog for details.
