Introducing Product Status Lifecycle: Bookmarking & Archiving

Introducing Product Status Lifecycle: Bookmarking & Archiving

Version: 0.1.57

When you're analysing dozens of discovered products across multiple sessions, it's easy to lose track of what's been looked at, what's a real opportunity, and what's already been dismissed. v0.1.57 solves this with a formal status lifecycle for every product in your pipeline.

The Problem This Solves

The ranked dashboard surfaces a lot of products. Before this release, there was no way to record what your team had already evaluated — so every session started from scratch, and work was duplicated. This release gives you a lightweight CRM-style workflow built directly into the product dossier view.

How It Works

Assigning a Status

Every product now has a status field. You can update it from the product's dossier view. Statuses move through a natural progression:

new → reviewed → shortlisted → building
                      ↓
                  archived

The five available statuses are:

  • new — Default state for all newly discovered products. Indicates no team member has reviewed the dossier yet.
  • reviewed — Someone on the team has read through the dossier. The product is in consideration but no decision has been made.
  • shortlisted — The product has been identified as a strong opportunity. It will appear in the Watchlist.
  • building — The opportunity has been committed to and is actively being built on the platform.
  • archived — The product has been dismissed or deprioritised. It remains in the system but can be filtered out of normal views.

Filtering the Ranked Dashboard

The main ranked dashboard now includes a status filter. Use it to:

  • Hide archived products to keep your view clean
  • Focus on reviewed products when making shortlisting decisions
  • Find all building products to track your active build queue

Filters can be combined with the existing sort controls (composite score, replicability, revenue potential, etc.).

The Watchlist

Products marked as shortlisted automatically appear in the new Watchlist view — accessible from the main navigation. The Watchlist is a curated, distraction-free view of your highest-priority opportunities, separate from the full ranked results.

This is the recommended place for the team to:

  • Review and compare shortlisted products side-by-side
  • Decide which opportunities to escalate to building
  • Share a focused list during team calls without exposing the full analysis pipeline

Access & Permissions

Status updates can be made by any authenticated team member (allowlisted users: glyn@agentos.com, dylan@agentos.com). Status changes are shared across the team — there is a single shared status per product, not per-user.

Existing Products

All products already in the system have been assigned new status by default. No action is required — your existing data and scores are unaffected.
