No More Lost Filters — Smarter Navigation on the Tenancy Detail Page

v0.1.267 · Navigation & UX

If you manage more than a handful of tenancies, you've felt this pain: you carefully filter your tenancy list down to the 8 properties that need attention this week, click into one, do your work, hit Back — and you're staring at page 1 again. Every filter gone. Start over.

v0.1.267 fixes that, along with two other long-requested navigation improvements.

Your List State Is Now Saved

When you navigate from the Tenancies list into a detail page, we now save your exact list state — filters, sort order, and page number — in your browser session. When you return via the new breadcrumb, you're dropped straight back where you were.

No re-filtering. No hunting for the property you were just looking at.

A Breadcrumb That Always Tells You Where You Are

The tenancy detail page now has a persistent breadcrumb at the top:

Tenancies → 123 High Street

It's simple, but it answers the two questions that matter when you're moving quickly: where am I? and how do I get back?

Tab Links That Actually Work

The tenancy detail page has five tabs — Timeline, Check-in, Check-out, Compliance, and Deductions. Up until now, switching tabs didn't update the URL, which meant you couldn't bookmark a specific tab, share a direct link to the Deductions view, or use the browser's Back button to return to the tab you were previously on.

All five tabs now update the URL as you switch between them. Every tab is deep-linkable, shareable, and browser-history-aware.

These changes are live now in the dashboard. No action needed on your end.
