Introducing Advanced Search and Filtering

Introducing Advanced Search and Filtering

Released in v1.0.65

Finding the right record across a complex, multi-module platform can be time-consuming. With v1.0.65, we've rebuilt search from the ground up — bringing natural language understanding, flexible faceted filtering, saved searches, and personalized results to every part of the platform.

Natural Language Queries

You no longer need to know the exact name of a record or field to find it. The search engine now understands natural language, so queries like:

  • "onboarding tasks for new hires in Q3"
  • "unpaid invoices over $10,000"
  • "contracts expiring next month"

…return accurate, relevant results by interpreting your intent rather than just matching keywords. NLP-powered search works across all modules — HR, Finance, Contracts, and Operations.

Faceted Filtering

Once you have a set of results, narrow them down using dynamically generated facets:

FacetExamples
ModuleHR, Finance, Contracts, Operations
Record TypeEmployee, Invoice, Contract, Task
Date RangeCreated, modified, or due date
StatusActive, Pending, Closed, Draft
OwnerFilter by assigned user or team

Facets update in real time to reflect what's available in your current result set. You can apply multiple filters at once and clear them individually or all at once.

Saved Searches

For queries you run regularly, you can now save a search — including any active filters — for instant re-access.

How to save a search

  1. Run a search and apply any desired filters
  2. Click Save Search in the search results toolbar
  3. Give the search a name and confirm
  4. Access saved searches from the search bar dropdown under Saved

Saved searches are personal to each user. To manage them, navigate to User Preferences → Saved Searches where you can rename, reorder, or delete entries.

Search Analytics (Administrators)

Tenant administrators now have access to a Search Analytics dashboard that provides visibility into how the platform is being searched:

  • Top Queries — most frequent search terms across the tenant
  • Zero-Result Searches — queries that returned no results, highlighting potential data or content gaps
  • Click-Through Rates — which results users are selecting, by query

Search analytics are aggregated and anonymized at the query level. Access them via Admin Console → Analytics → Search.

Personalized Results

Over time, search results adapt to each individual user. Records and modules that a user accesses frequently are ranked higher in their personal results — without affecting results for anyone else on the tenant.

Personalization is automatic and passive — no configuration is required. It begins influencing results as the platform learns from user navigation and search behavior.
