Contact Bulk Actions

NurtureHub v1.0.52 introduces bulk action support in the contacts list. You can now select multiple contacts simultaneously and apply actions across all of them without repeating the same operation contact by contact.


How It Works

Selecting Contacts

Each row in the contacts list now has a checkbox on the left-hand side.

  • Click any checkbox to start a selection.
  • Click the header checkbox to select every contact currently visible in the list.
  • The bulk-action toolbar appears automatically at the top of the list as soon as at least one contact is selected, and disappears when the selection is cleared.

Bulk Actions

Assign Category

Assigns one of NurtureHub's twelve predefined categories (e.g. Seller, Landlord, Buy-to-Let Investor) to every selected contact.

  • For each contact that receives a new category, the platform immediately triggers AI nurture sequence generation in your agency's brand voice — exactly as if you had assigned the category individually.
  • If the operation would exceed your plan's active sequence limit, a confirmation dialog is shown with the exact count of sequences that would be created. You can cancel or proceed.

Add to Sequence

Enrols all selected contacts into an existing sequence. The sequence must already exist in your account; bulk actions cannot create new sequences.

Archive

Moves all selected contacts to the archived state. Archived contacts no longer appear in the default contacts view but remain accessible via the archive filter. Active sequences for archived contacts are paused.

Export to CSV

Generates and downloads a CSV file containing data for all selected contacts. The export includes contact details and their current category and tag assignments.

Tag

Applies a custom text label to all selected contacts. Tags are additive — existing tags on a contact are preserved and the new tag is appended.


Plan Limits and Bulk Operations

Bulk category assignment can generate a large number of AI nurture sequences in a single action. NurtureHub enforces your plan's sequence limit before processing:

  1. When you confirm a bulk category assignment, the platform calculates how many new sequences would be created.
  2. If the resulting total would exceed your plan limit, a confirmation dialog is displayed showing the count of sequences that cannot be created.
  3. You can choose to cancel, adjust your selection, or contact support to upgrade your plan.

All other bulk actions (archive, export, tag, add to sequence) are not subject to sequence-count limits.


Frequently Asked Questions

Can I undo a bulk action? Archive operations can be reversed by navigating to the archive view and unarchiving contacts individually. Category assignments and sequence enrolments follow the same rules as individual assignments and can be changed per contact after the fact.

Does bulk export include all contact fields? The CSV export includes the standard contact fields available in the contacts list view, including name, email, category, and tags.

What happens if some contacts in my selection already have the category I'm assigning? The platform applies the assignment to all selected contacts. Contacts that already hold the chosen category will not have duplicate sequences generated.
