Product Status Lifecycle — Bookmarking & Archiving
Product Status Lifecycle — Bookmarking & Archiving
Available from: v0.1.59
Every product discovered by the crawler can be assigned a status that reflects where it sits in your team's evaluation pipeline. Statuses are shared across the team, filterable on the dashboard, and drive the dedicated Watchlist view.
Statuses
There are five statuses in the lifecycle:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
new | Freshly discovered — not yet reviewed by anyone |
reviewed | At least one team member has assessed the dossier |
shortlisted | Flagged as a high-priority build opportunity |
building | Actively being replicated on the platform |
archived | Dismissed — deprioritised or not worth pursuing |
Statuses progress in whatever order makes sense for your workflow — there is no enforced linear sequence. A product can move from new directly to building, or back from shortlisted to reviewed if reassessment is needed.
Setting a Status
Status can be set from two places:
- Ranked Dashboard — each product row exposes a status selector inline.
- Product Dossier — the full dossier view includes a status control in the header area.
Changes take effect immediately and are visible to all team members.
Filtering by Status
The ranked dashboard includes a status filter in the toolbar. You can:
- Select one or more statuses to show only matching products.
- Combine status filters with existing sort and score filters.
- Exclude
archivedproducts to keep the dashboard focused on live opportunities.
The filter state is reflected in the URL, so you can bookmark or share a filtered view.
Watchlist
The Watchlist is a dedicated view that automatically surfaces every product currently marked shortlisted.
- Accessible from the main navigation.
- Updated in real time as statuses change.
- Supports the same sort and column controls as the main dashboard.
Use the Watchlist as your team's shared shortlist — a curated pipeline of opportunities that have passed initial review and are being actively considered for building.
