Deposit Release Dashboard — Board View
Deposit Release Dashboard — Board View
Overview
The Deposit Release dashboard provides two ways to view your deposit release pipeline:
| View | Best for |
|---|---|
| List (default) | Dense portfolios; dense information per row; sorting and filtering |
| Board | Quick pipeline health check; identifying stalled or bottlenecked releases |
Use the List / Board toggle at the top of the Deposit Releases page to switch between views. Your selection is applied immediately — no page reload required.
Board View
The Board view organises every deposit release into one of four workflow columns:
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Release initiated but not yet sent to the tenant |
| Proposed | Deduction schedule sent; awaiting tenant response |
| Acknowledged | Tenant has acknowledged the proposed deductions |
| Released | Deposit formally released; workflow complete |
Note: Releases flagged as Disputed are surfaced within the pipeline so you can track them alongside active releases.
Release Cards
Each card in the Board view shows:
- Property address — the tenancy address associated with the release
- Deposit amount — the total deposit held
- Tenant return — the amount being returned to the tenant
- Deductions — the total amount of landlord/agent deductions applied
- Link to full tenancy — click any card to open the complete tenancy detail page
List View (Default)
The List view remains the default for all users. It presents releases in chronological order with status badges, matching the summary stat cards displayed at the top of the dashboard. This view is recommended when:
- You manage a large portfolio and need dense information per row
- You want to sort or filter by date, status, or amount
- You are performing bulk reviews
Switching Views
- Navigate to Dashboard → Deposit Releases.
- Locate the List / Board toggle in the top-right of the releases section.

- Click List to return to the default chronological list.
Workflow Stages Reference
Draft → Proposed → Acknowledged → Released
↘ Disputed
Each stage represents a discrete step in the deposit release process. The Board view makes it immediately visible how many releases are in each stage, helping you prioritise action on releases that are stalled in Proposed or Acknowledged.
