Less clicking, more doing: Quick Actions are here

Less clicking, more doing: Quick Actions are here

Release: v0.1.68

If you spend your mornings working through the dashboard queue — chasing check-out reminders, reviewing compliance alerts, spinning up new reports — this one is for you.

The problem we set out to fix

The work queue is the heartbeat of the agent dashboard. Every card represents something that needs attention: an upcoming check-out, a compliance flag, a report to start. The primary CTA button gets you to the most important next step — but agents rarely need to do just one thing per card.

A typical pre-checkout routine might look like:

  1. Open the queue, find the card.
  2. Click through to the tenancy to check the timeline.
  3. Navigate back to the queue.
  4. Find the card again.
  5. Go somewhere else to send the tenant a reminder.
  6. Navigate back again to start the report.

That's five steps to do three things. Repeated across a full morning queue, the friction adds up fast.

What's new: the ⋯ Quick Actions menu

We've added a kebab menu (⋯) to every work queue card. It sits alongside the existing primary CTA and surfaces 2–3 context-appropriate actions — no extra navigation required.

On Upcoming Check-Out cards, you can now:

  • View the full tenancy timeline
  • Send a reminder directly to the tenant
  • Jump straight to creating the check-out report

On Compliance Alert cards, you can now:

  • View the compliance detail
  • Mark the alert as acknowledged
  • Open the associated tenancy

How much time does it save?

For a standard pre-checkout workflow, we've reduced the number of navigation hops from 3–4 page loads down to 1–2. The primary CTA hasn't changed — the quick actions menu is entirely additive, so existing workflows aren't disrupted.

Getting started

No setup needed. Open your Work Queue, find any card, and click the icon on the right. The menu will show you the actions available for that card type.

For full details on each action, see the Quick Actions feature guide.
