What's New in v1.0.12: Quarterly Summary Builder
Version 1.0.12 introduces the Quarterly Summary Builder — a key step in bridging your property finances and your HMRC Making Tax Digital obligations.
The Problem It Solves
MTD ITSA requires landlords to submit income and expense figures for each property, every quarter, in a very specific format. Until now, preparing those figures meant manually extracting transactions from your records, grouping them by property and period, and cross-referencing them against HMRC's field schema — a time-consuming process with real risk of error.
What's Changed
With the Quarterly Summary Builder, that work happens automatically:
- Transactions imported from your AgentOS landlord record are grouped per property and per HMRC quarter.
- The resulting totals are mapped to the exact fields expected by the HMRC MTD ITSA API — no guesswork, no manual cross-referencing.
- A pre-submission review screen shows you a clear breakdown of income and expenses before anything is sent to HMRC, so you stay in control.
How to Use It
- Make sure your AgentOS API connection is active so your transactions are imported.
- Go to Submissions → Quarterly Summary and select your quarter.
- Review the per-property totals on the summary screen.
- When you're satisfied, click Submit to HMRC.
That's it. The platform handles the HMRC MTD ITSA API call and returns a confirmation reference.
What's Next
This release lays the groundwork for end-of-period statements and annual tax calculations in future versions. If you have feedback on the summary screen or the field mappings, please reach out through the in-app support channel.
