Navigate Faster with the Upgraded Command Palette
v0.1.44 — Released 2025-07-08
We've significantly extended the command palette in v0.1.44, turning it from a generic search box into a purpose-built navigation hub for proptech product intelligence.
What changed and why
The original command palette searched members and feedback — useful infrastructure, but not matched to how we actually use the tool day to day. The real workflow is: discover products, drill into dossiers, compare opportunities, and act on them. The palette now mirrors that workflow directly.
Search products by name, land on the dossier
Type any product name and the palette returns a direct link to its scored dossier — the page with the auto-drafted mission statement, suggested feature list, replicability score, and competitor weakness breakdown. No more navigating through the ranked table to find something you've already reviewed.
Quick actions keep the keyboard in reach
Three high-frequency actions are pinned in the palette at all times:
- Start new crawl — the fastest path to feeding the system a new directory URL.
- View shortlist — surface the products you've already flagged for deeper consideration.
- Export top 10 — pull the current ranked list out of the app and into a shareable format in one step.
Recent products, no retyping required
The palette now remembers the product dossiers you've visited recently and shows them the moment you open it. If you're working through a shortlist or revisiting a dossier mid-analysis, you'll be back in context in a keystroke.
Removed: generic member/feedback search
The old member and feedback search has been retired from the palette. That functionality is still accessible through its dedicated routes — the palette is now reserved for the product-centric workflows it does best.
