What's New: A Landing Page That Actually Speaks to Landlords
What's New: A Landing Page That Actually Speaks to Landlords
Release: v1.0.17
Category: UI/UX · Content
With v1.0.17 we've made two focused improvements to the public landing page — fixing a broken headline and replacing placeholder feature copy with descriptions of what the product actually does for UK landlords.
The Hero Headline Is Fixed
The main <h1> on the landing page was being truncated mid-word due to an overflow issue, leaving visitors reading:
"Making Tax Digital — Empowering UK landlords to meet their Making Tax Digital obl"
Not a great first impression. The headline has been replaced with something complete and direct:
**"Quarterly Tax for UK Landlords — Done in Minutes"
This captures the core promise of the product — Making Tax Digital compliance without the complexity — in a single, readable line.
Feature Cards Now Reflect the Actual Product
The three cards beneath the hero previously read like a generic SaaS starter template: Lightning Fast, Secure by Default, AI-Powered. These describe infrastructure, not outcomes. A landlord visiting the page for the first time had no clear signal of what the product does.
The three cards now describe the three things that matter most to a UK landlord using this platform:
1. AgentOS Sync
If you manage your portfolio through a letting agent running AgentOS, your transactions can be pulled in automatically from your AgentOS landlord record. No manual CSV exports, no copy-pasting figures.
2. One-Click HMRC Submission
Once your figures are in order, quarterly returns are submitted directly to HMRC through the Making Tax Digital API. The platform handles the authentication and submission flow — including the required National Insurance Number verification — so you stay compliant without navigating HMRC's portal yourself.
3. HMRC Category Auto-Mapping
Incoming transactions are automatically mapped to the correct HMRC property income and expense categories. This removes one of the most error-prone steps in preparing a quarterly update and ensures your submissions use the right boxes from the start.
Why This Matters
Documentation and onboarding only work if the landing page sets accurate expectations. These changes ensure that the first thing a landlord sees when they visit the platform reflects the actual workflow: import from AgentOS → auto-categorise → submit to HMRC. Nothing more, nothing less.
