Introducing the Owner Injury Risk Dashboard
Introducing the Owner Injury Risk Dashboard
Release: v1.0.33
Version 1.0.33 ships the Owner Injury Risk Dashboard — a new section of the owner console purpose-built for monitoring member injury risk across your entire gym, not just individual athletes.
For gym owners and head coaches, managing injury risk at scale has traditionally meant waiting for problems to be reported. This dashboard flips that dynamic: it aggregates training load data, risk signals, and injury history into a single view so you can act before something goes wrong.
What's in the Dashboard
Fleet-wide Amber / Red Alerts
Every member in your gym is continuously assessed for injury risk. The dashboard presents a clear Amber/Red alert list covering all members simultaneously — no more checking profiles one by one. Amber indicates elevated risk requiring monitoring; Red indicates high risk requiring immediate attention or programme adjustment.
Weekly Volume Spike Detection
Sudden spikes in training volume are one of the strongest predictors of overuse injury. The dashboard automatically surfaces members whose week-on-week volume has exceeded safe ramp thresholds, giving coaches a concrete list of members to check in with each week.
Injury Logs by Body Region
All recorded injuries are logged and broken down by body region, letting you see at a glance whether your gym is accumulating, say, a cluster of shoulder or lower-back issues. Regional patterns often point to programming gaps or technique problems that can be addressed systematically.
Monthly Injury Rate Reports
At the end of each month, the dashboard produces a structured report that slices injury rate across three dimensions:
| Dimension | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Programme track | Which training tracks (e.g. Competitor, Fitness, Masters) are producing higher injury rates |
| Coach | Whether injury incidence varies across coaching assignments, useful for mentoring and programme review |
| Movement category | Which movement families (e.g. Olympic lifting, gymnastics, loaded carry) are contributing most to injuries |
These reports are designed to feed directly into programming reviews and coach 1-on-1s.
Who Can Access the Dashboard
The Injury Risk Dashboard is available to users with the Owner role inside the owner console. Individual coaches can see risk alerts relevant to their own members through the existing coaching interface.
Getting Started
- Log in to the Owner Console.
- Navigate to Members → Injury Risk in the left-hand navigation.
- Review the Amber/Red alert list for any members requiring immediate attention.
- Use the Volume Spikes tab to review this week's at-risk members.
- Select Reports → Monthly Injury Summary to access the most recent monthly breakdown.
Notes
- Injury risk signals are derived from training load data recorded on the platform. Members with incomplete or sparse training logs will have limited risk visibility.
- Injury logs must be entered by coaches or members in order to appear in body-region breakdowns and monthly reports.
- Monthly reports are generated automatically at the end of each calendar month.
