What's New: Contact Notes & Activity Timeline

What's New in v1.0.45: Contact Notes & Activity Timeline

We shipped two closely related improvements in this release: a contact notes system and a unified activity timeline on every contact detail page.

The problem we heard from agents

Property agents manage relationships over long timeframes. A landlord you spoke to in January might not be ready to instruct until September. In between, a lot happens — emails go out, someone on your team takes a call, a viewing gets mentioned in passing. Previously, NurtureHub tracked the automated side of that story (sequences, opens, clicks, alerts, CRM syncs) but gave agents no way to record the human side of it.

The result was that context lived in people's heads, in sticky notes, or in a separate CRM field that never made it back into NurtureHub.

What we built

Notes: a shared memory for your team

Any team member can now add a timestamped note to any contact — a quick record of a phone call, a detail mentioned at a viewing, a reason a sequence was paused. Notes are plain text, up to 2,000 characters, and visible to everyone in the organisation.

We deliberately kept notes simple. There are no categories, no tagging, no assignments. The goal is that adding a note takes seconds, not minutes.

To make capture as frictionless as possible, you can add a note from three different places:

  • The contact detail page — the natural home for a note.
  • The hot-leads page — so you can record context the moment an alert fires, without navigating away.
  • The sequence review page — so you can note why you approved or changed an email while you are looking at it.

The activity timeline

The contact detail page now shows a single chronological timeline of everything NurtureHub knows about a contact:

  • When they were assigned to a category
  • When their sequence started and each email went out
  • When they opened an email or clicked a link
  • When an intent-scoring alert fired
  • When a CRM sync event occurred (across agentOS, Reapit, Alto, Street, and Loop)
  • And now — every note your team has added

The timeline is designed to give anyone on your team an instant answer to the question: "where are we with this contact?" — without needing to ask a colleague or dig through a CRM.

A note on notes

Notes are immutable once saved. This is intentional. The timeline is a record of what happened and when, and editable notes would undermine that. If you need to add new information, just add another note — the timestamp will make the sequence clear.

How to get started

There is nothing to configure. Open any contact, scroll to the Activity Timeline section, and click Add note. The timeline is already populated with all historical events for that contact.

Full documentation is available in the Contact Notes & Activity Timeline feature guide.
