Workday Migration Validation & Reconciliation — What's New in v1.0.56
Release: v1.0.56
Migrating workforce data from Workday is a high-stakes operation. A single missed record or field conflict can cause downstream payroll, compliance, or reporting errors. Version 1.0.56 introduces a dedicated post-migration validation and reconciliation workflow so you can verify the integrity of every imported record before going live.
What Was Shipped
Post-Migration Validation
Once a Workday migration job completes, the platform automatically compares the source Workday dataset against the imported records in your tenant. This comparison runs at the record and field level, giving you granular visibility into the fidelity of your migration.
Reconciliation Report
A structured reconciliation report is generated for each migration run. Records are classified into three categories:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Matched | Record present in both source and destination; all fields are consistent. |
| Unmatched | Record present in one system only — either missing from the import or introduced without a source counterpart. |
| Conflicting | Record present in both systems but one or more fields differ between the source and the imported version. |
The report is filterable by status, record type (e.g. employee, position, compensation), and severity, making it straightforward to prioritise remediation.
One-Click Fix for Common Issues
For issues the platform can resolve automatically — such as missing field mappings, date format mismatches, or duplicate key collisions — a Fix action is available inline within the report. Clicking it applies the correction immediately without requiring a full re-migration.
More complex conflicts that require human judgement are flagged clearly with a description of the discrepancy and the affected fields, so your team knows exactly what needs manual review.
Who This Affects
This feature is relevant to any organisation in the process of migrating HR data from Workday into the platform. It is available to tenant administrators with migration permissions.
