Introducing the Movement Library: Browse, Learn, and Bookmark

Release v1.0.92

We've shipped the Movement Library in the member app — a searchable, filterable reference for every movement in your gym's registry, complete with coaching videos and personal bookmarking.

The Problem It Solves

Members frequently encounter movements in their programming that they're unfamiliar with, or want to revisit technique outside of class time. Until now, that meant hunting through YouTube, asking a coach mid-session, or simply guessing. None of those are great options.

Coaches invest real effort producing cue videos and fault breakdowns for the movement registry. The movement library brings all of that directly into the member experience, where it's most useful.

What's Included

Search and Filter

The library is fully searchable by movement name. Members can also filter by equipment (barbell, kettlebell, dumbbell, bodyweight, and more) or by category (Olympic lifting, gymnastics, conditioning, strength, etc.). Filters and search work together, so finding exactly the right movement is fast regardless of library size.

Coaching Cue & Fault Videos

Each movement detail view surfaces two video types:

  • Coaching cue videos walk through correct execution.
  • Fault videos show common mistakes and how to fix them.

This turns the movement library into a self-service coaching tool that members can use any time — before a session to prepare, after a session to review, or whenever they want to improve a specific skill.

Personal Bookmarks

Members can bookmark any movement to a persistent personal reference list. Whether it's a complex Olympic lift they're still learning or a favourite warm-up drill, bookmarked movements are always one tap away. Bookmarks sync across devices and sessions.

How It Works

The library is backed by the platform's movement registry — the same registry coaches use to build programming. Any movement added to the registry, along with its equipment tags, category tags, and attached videos, is immediately available for members to browse. There's no separate content pipeline to manage.

Getting Started

Members: open the member app and navigate to Library in the main navigation. Search, filter, and start bookmarking.

Coaches and gym owners: check that your movement registry entries have complete equipment and category tags, and that coaching cue and fault videos are attached. The richer your registry data, the more valuable the library becomes for your members.
