The Period-End Financial Close & Consolidation module streamlines month-end and year-end close processes by centralizing task management, journal entries, intercompany eliminations, and multi-entity consolidation into a single, auditable workflow.


Overview

Finance teams typically coordinate close across many people, systems, and entities. This module brings the entire close process into the platform so that progress is visible, tasks are assigned with accountability, and consolidation happens without manual data wrangling.


Features

Close Task Checklists

Build a master checklist of all activities required to complete a close period.

  • Task assignments — assign each task to a specific user responsible for completion
  • Deadlines — set due dates per task to enforce the close timeline
  • Status tracking — tasks move through defined states (e.g. Not Started → In Progress → Complete) so the overall checklist status is always current

Checklists can be templated and reused across periods, saving setup time for recurring month-end or quarter-end cycles.


Journal Entry Management
