Introducing Employee Voice & Engagement Surveys

Introducing Employee Voice & Engagement Surveys

Release: v1.0.82

Version 1.0.82 adds a complete employee listening system to the platform. HR teams and managers can now run pulse surveys, structured engagement questionnaires, and anonymous feedback channels — all in one place, with AI-driven analysis built in.

Why It Matters

Understanding how employees feel is critical for retention, productivity, and culture. This release closes the loop between HR strategy and day-to-day team health by giving managers real-time engagement data alongside the tools to act on it.

What's Included

Survey Types

TypeDescription
Pulse SurveyShort, frequent check-ins to track team morale over time
Engagement QuestionnaireDeeper, structured surveys covering key engagement dimensions
Anonymous Feedback ChannelOpen-ended, anonymous submissions to surface candid employee sentiment

AI Sentiment Analysis

Once responses are collected, the platform's AI layer automatically:

  • Analyses open-text responses for sentiment (positive, neutral, negative)
  • Identifies recurring themes and topics across teams
  • Tracks sentiment trends over rolling time periods
  • Flags significant drops or shifts for HR review

No manual tagging or third-party text analysis tools are required.

Manager Engagement Dashboard

Managers gain access to a dedicated view that shows:

  • Engagement scores — aggregated per team, updated in real time as responses come in
  • Actionable insights — concrete suggestions based on score patterns and sentiment signals
  • Trend lines — historical score data to distinguish short-term fluctuations from longer-term shifts

Getting Started

Creating a Survey

  1. Navigate to People → Surveys in the main navigation.
  2. Click New Survey and select a survey type (Pulse, Engagement, or Anonymous Feedback).
  3. Add your questions using the survey editor. For anonymous surveys, toggle Anonymous Responses on.
  4. Set an audience — choose specific employees, teams, or the full organization.
  5. Configure a distribution schedule (immediate or scheduled send) and click Publish.

Viewing Results

  1. Open a published survey and go to the Results tab.
  2. Quantitative responses are shown as charts and aggregate scores.
  3. Open-text responses are grouped by AI-detected sentiment and theme.
  4. The Engagement Score card updates automatically as new responses arrive.

Manager Insights

Managers see their team's engagement score and insights panel from My Team → Engagement. Insights are generated automatically when sufficient responses are collected and refresh with each new survey cycle.

Privacy & Anonymity

  • When a survey is marked anonymous, individual responses are never attributed to a specific employee in the UI or exports.
  • AI sentiment analysis on anonymous surveys operates on aggregated data only.
  • Admins can configure a minimum response threshold before team-level results are revealed, preventing de-anonymization of small groups.

Available In

Employee Voice & Engagement Surveys are available to all plans that include the HR module. Anonymous feedback channels require the Enterprise plan.
