The Coach Readiness Dashboard gives coaches and personal trainers a single, consolidated view of every member's readiness state — making it straightforward to make informed programming and load decisions ahead of high-intensity weeks or competition preparation blocks.


Overview

Before this feature, understanding athlete readiness across a full roster required navigating to each member's individual profile. The Fleet-Wide Readiness Dashboard consolidates this into one screen, colour-coded and immediately actionable.


Reading the Dashboard

Colour-Coded Readiness Scores

Each member is represented by a card colour-coded to their current readiness score:

🟢 GreenHigh readiness — athlete is well recovered and ready for full training load
🟡 AmberModerate readiness — consider load reduction or modified intensity
🔴 RedLow readiness — rest day or active recovery recommended

Readiness scores are calculated from connected health data sources including sleep, HRV, recent training load, and recovery metrics from paired wearable devices.

Drill-Down to Health Factors

Clicking any member card expands a detail panel showing the individual contributing factors behind their score. This allows coaches to understand why a member is flagged amber or red, and to make a more nuanced session decision — for example, an athlete with low HRV but good sleep may tolerate technical skill work but not a max-effort conditioning piece.

Contributing factors may include:

  • Sleep quality and duration
  • Heart rate variability (HRV)
  • Resting heart rate
  • Recent training load and accumulated fatigue
  • Recovery data from paired wearables

Use Cases

Pre-Session Check (Group Classes)

Before coaching a high-intensity group class, open the Readiness Dashboard to:

  1. Identify members who are red-coded and may need scaled or modified work.
  2. Flag amber members for a quick check-in on arrival.
  3. Confirm the majority of the group is green before proceeding with the planned intensity.

Competition Prep Blocks

During competition preparation cycles, cumulative fatigue can build rapidly. Use the dashboard weekly (or daily in peak weeks) to:

  • Spot athletes approaching overreaching thresholds before performance drops.
  • Make proactive deload decisions based on data rather than athlete self-reporting alone.
  • Track readiness trends across the roster over the prep block.

Personal Training Sessions

For 1:1 coaches, the dashboard provides a quick pre-session readiness check for each client without navigating away from the roster view.


Accessing the Dashboard

The Readiness Dashboard is accessible from the Coach Portal under the Members section. It is visible to users with the Coach or Gym Owner role.
