Collections Dashboard
Collections Dashboard
The Collections Dashboard (/dashboard/collections) gives administrators a centralised view of all Direct Debit collection attempts — their current status, BACS and settlement details, and key performance metrics.
Accessing the Dashboard
Navigate to /dashboard/collections in the admin interface.
Collection List
The main view displays a paginated list of all collection attempts across all mandates. Each row in the list shows the collection's current status, represented by a colour-coded badge:
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
scheduled | The collection is scheduled but not yet submitted to BACS |
submitted | The collection has been submitted to BACS and is in progress |
collected | Funds have been successfully collected from the tenant |
failed | The collection attempt was unsuccessful |
clawback | The collected funds were reversed by the tenant's bank |
Filtering
The list can be filtered by:
- Status — narrow results to a specific collection status (e.g. show only
failedorclawbackcollections) - Mandate — view all collections associated with a specific mandate
- Date range — filter by collection date window
Collection Detail View
Selecting any collection from the list opens the detail view, which displays:
- Amount — the value of the collection in GBP
- BACS Submission Date — the date the collection request was submitted to the BACS cycle
- Settlement Date — the date funds were (or are expected to be) settled
- Modulr Reference — the reference identifier assigned by Modulr for this collection
- Clawback Details — if the collection has a
clawbackstatus, additional detail on the reversal is shown
Aggregate Stats
The top of the dashboard surfaces two summary metrics:
- Success Rate — the percentage of collection attempts with a
collectedoutcome, across all time - Total Collected This Month — the total GBP amount successfully collected in the current calendar month
Export to CSV
The currently filtered collection list can be exported to a CSV file using the Export button. The export reflects the active filters — use the filter controls first to scope the data before exporting.
This is useful for:
- Reconciliation and accounting
- Investigating failed or clawback collections
- Sharing collection history with stakeholders
