Corporate Wellness B2B Subscription Management
Corporate Wellness B2B Subscription Management
Version 1.0.60 introduces a dedicated corporate wellness layer that allows employers to purchase fitness benefits for their staff, manage seat access centrally, and run branded group challenges — all within the existing multi-tenant platform.
Overview
The corporate wellness feature targets B2B buyers: companies that want to offer structured fitness benefits to their employees. It sits alongside the existing gym owner and individual member flows as a distinct subscription tier with its own administrative surface.
Key Concepts
| Concept | Description |
|---|---|
| Corporate Subscription | An employer-level subscription that holds a purchased bulk seat allocation. |
| Company Administrator | A user role with permissions to manage seat assignments within the company's allocation. |
| Seat | A unit of access entitling one employee to the corporate fitness benefit. |
| Curated Programme | A training programme made available to employees under the corporate subscription. |
| Employer-Branded Challenge | A monthly group challenge configured and branded by the employer. |
Bulk Seat Allocation
Employers purchase a fixed number of seats as part of their corporate subscription. Seat counts are enforced at the platform level — employees cannot be granted access beyond the purchased allocation.
- Seats are purchased at the subscription level, not per-individual.
- Unused seats remain in the pool until assigned or until the subscription period ends.
- Seat counts can be adjusted by upgrading or downgrading the corporate subscription.
Company Administrator Role
Each corporate subscription has one or more designated Company Administrators. This role has exclusive access to the corporate management portal and can:
- Allocate seats — assign a seat to a specific employee (by email or internal identifier).
- Reassign seats — move a seat from one employee to another.
- Revoke access — remove an employee from the seat allocation, returning the seat to the pool.
- Monitor utilisation — view how many seats are in use versus available at any point in time.
Company Administrators do not have access to individual employees' workout data or health metrics — they only manage access.
Employee Access to Curated Programmes
Once an employee is assigned a seat, they gain access to a curated set of training programmes provided under the corporate subscription.
- Curated programmes are separate from the general programme catalogue available to individual gym members.
- Employees interact with the platform through the standard member interface; their experience is scoped to the corporate subscription's permitted content.
- Employees do not need to manage billing — access is fully controlled by the company administrator.
Employer-Branded Monthly Group Challenges
Corporate subscriptions include the ability to run monthly group challenges with employer branding.
- Challenges are configured at the corporate level and made visible to all employees with active seats.
- Branding options allow employers to align challenges with internal wellness campaigns or initiatives.
- Challenges reset on a monthly cadence, encouraging ongoing participation across the workforce.
